Anguilla is a small island, 16 miles by 3 miles, and has been developed
to attract a high-end tourist clientele with two of the finest
hotels in the Caribbean, Cap Juluca and Malliouhana, and many
excellent restaurants. It is a quiet island geared toward
outdoor activities, and it boasts some of the most beautiful
beaches in the Caribbean with fine white powdery sand and
excellent snorkeling. For those who crave shopping or nightlife
St. Martin is only fifteen minutes away, and is easily accessible
by ferry or private charter.
The people of Anguilla are one of its greatest assets, friendly and
proud they are always happy to greet newcomers. The service
in Anguilla is excellent and privacy is respected, which has
made the island very popular with celebrity tourists. Anguilla
is a secure island and driving, although on the left side
of the road, is easy with good roads and little traffic.
